News.... & Thank Yous
Hey Guys.... Its Amanda... I have been overwhelmed by the amount of tracks that I have! 17 hrs of killer tracks! As you can imagine this is a taxing task. I have narrowed it down to 14 tracks.
I am in the midst of mixing and choosing between labels or releasing it on my own! I have a feeling that there will have to be more than one volume. Pre-orders will begin SOON. Ian Van Hammersveld is working on the cover art and he is known to take his time! :)

Its difficult for me to express in words how much the fans and the musicians touched and stirred my soul.
Bob Corritore is an incredible man and he acted as my main support. I could have never done this without that man. He is generous with his time and the love he has for this music is infinite.
Bharath Rajakumar.... YOU ARE A SPOOKY MAN! I COULD HAVE NEVER DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU! WOW! You knew when to talk me down. You knew when I needed to take time out for family meals. You kept me grounded and focused. You calmed me down and you sped me up! I cant express in words what you mean to me. I will always love you... and you were right... I AM RIGHT WHERE I WANT TO BE!
Sonia Rajakumar .. for her smile and the joy she brings to a room. Shes full of grace! Bharath is a lucky man!
DAN KARLOCK and his TEAM... holy crap this poor guy has waited months for me to watch the dvds and give him feedback... I am so excited to move in to the film phase! Its really terrific!
Alethea Bermudes... For heading down to get the Tortas for the fellas.. and being there thru my meltdowns! OXOX
MONA... Girl... you are the ROCK! Love you!
Rueben Williams of the Thunderbird Management Group.... He stepped up to the plate and helped me get laminates made and posters signed and stayed so calm in the midst of the storm. He is an incredible man. His soul runs deep. What can I say... Louisana boys are good!
Michelle Hirsch... She was my backbone! I am telling you this woman was on top of everything at every step! She's a dear friend and a Excel master!
Anthony Archiga ... He helped me beyond belief! He found Ian to do the posters. He built my site. He allowed me to DJ with him and promote my festival on Freedom Radio. What can I say about him. He's a spirit, a yogi, an old soul with a heart of gold!
Laura and Brian Makela ... Wow... those two stepped up to the plate .. Drove the vans full of fans and found us a classy dressing room : )
They are the greatest couple in the world with hearts full of soul. I love them and their girls like they are my own family.. Even her brother Steve aint half bad! haha
John Reilly .. JR... My bestie... My Bro.. This man gives me faith in humanity. His heart is pure gold. Thanks for everything you do!! I love you.
Billy and Mary Flynn... Mary asked for a job and I asked her if she can drive a van .. and that lil lady did it! I love the Flynn Family as if they were my own.
Andie and Larry Taylor.. THEY ARE MY FAMILY. I THINK OF THEM AS MY FAMILY... I LOVE THEM BOTH BEYOND WORDS! I dont even know where to begin...
Lester and Pike... LESTER REFUSED TO ACCEPT A DIME FROM ME... IT MADE ME CRY.. HE IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MAN WITH A SOUL THAT CAN NEVER BE TOPPED.. His SPIRIT is so PURE and his BEAUTY funs deep... I love you both more than you will ever know!
Toni Ann and Hubert... Toni is such a great gal. What a girl!?! I love her! She tuff and sweet and she really takes care of Hubert. Hubert said .. "I came to play my ass off for you" and man he sure did!
Bill Wax XM... For letting me ramble on and on... What a guy!
Kim Wilson... Who put up with my crazy ass for 10 freakin years. He is a master of harmonica and he sings like a bird. I could have NEVER done this without him. I love that man.
MY MOM AND DAD.... Who don't really understand what this is all about or why I was so manic while I was immersed in the eye of the storm.
BUT they BAILED my ASS out so I could pay all of the musicians properly! They are wonderful people! I am so lucky to have them. They are freakin awesome grandparents and the coolest peeps. (BUY THE CD SO I CAN PAY THEM BACK!!)
Greg fingers Taylor... For feeding my soul. He knew when i was 20 years old and a broke college student that i couldnt afford a proper record collection.... He took me to Cheapos Records in Boston.. and bought me every CD he thought that I would love...& the MUDDY WATERS Charly Chess Boxed Set... I thought he was shopping for himself and was amused watching him quickly sift through the store with determination. When he presented me with those yellow bags filled with CDS .. I almost died. I still tear up today thinking about that moment. I came back to the Four Seasons in Boston and dumped those discs on the bed like I was scarface and rolled in them like they were money. haha We holed up in that room while I discovered MORRIS PEJOE, AMOS MILBURN, DELBERT MCCLINTON, BILLY BOY ARNOLD, BIG WALTER, OTIS SPANN.... EVERYTHING WITH SOUL! Far TOO many to list.. I will always love Greg for giving me the gift of music and most importantly the gift of OUR beautiful boys. We shared so many laughs and genuine good times.. : ) WITHOUT HIM I ASSURE YOU THERE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN A COASTER..
Jason Smith ...for talking me through my breakdowns and mentally preparing me for mixing the cd and choosing the tracks. Without him you'd all be waiting a lot longer for the CDs and the DVD! Love that crazy boy from Sashabaw Junior High! I wish he wasnt in ChiTown haha
I would also like to thank GOD or that power that was greater than me. The power that made me wake up from the dream (the morning I was graduating from yoga school) and make that call to BOB CORRITORE.... APRIL 14, 2010. I will never forget it!
